Let's begin!

Leaf

With green, ch 10. Sc, hdc, 2 dc, tr, 2 tr, tr, 2 dc, hdc, (sc, ch 1, sc) in last stitch. Turn, hdc, 2 dc, tr, 2 tr, tr, 2 dc, hdc, sc, sl st, ch 1. Sl st down the middle. Ch 6, FO.

Stem

R1: With green, MR6

R2-42: 6 sc. Add leaf after round 30.

R43: inc - 12 to form the base.

R44: 1 sc, inc - 18

R45: 2 sc, inc - 24, FO.

Prepare wire and insert into the stem.

If making for little ones or if you just want to leave the wire out, just stuff the stem firmly as you go so it doesn't flop over.

Sunflower Base

R2: inc - 12

R3: 1 sc, inc - 18

R4: 2 sc, inc - 24, FO.

Flower Petals

Place brown base over green base with right side facing you. Attach yellow yarn and crochet through both brown and green base.

Ch 2. DC, TR in the same stitch. In the next stitch, TR, DC in the same stitch. ch 2, sl st. Repeat for a total of 8 petals. Stuff with polyester fiberfill before completing the final 2 petals.

You're Finished!
